The Alameda County First 5 Barbecue for agency staff and their families took place on a typical August Alameda day with cool weather and cloudy skies. An endless supply of tacos and a snow cone station accompanied a variety of activities for all ages
There was face and body painting, a bean bag toss, hula hoops, bubbles, and jump ropes. Adults connected through a game of people’s bingo, and young and old joined in on the relay races. The barbecue created a day of joy, camaraderie, and shared experiences.
